Reach out through the App Store support channel for NetMaster X. Include your iOS version, device model, the tool you were using (for example Ping, Traceroute, Wi‑Fi Site Survey, or HTTP Capture), and a short description of what happened. Screenshots help when charts or maps look off.
FAQs
- Do I need an account? No. Core diagnostics work without signing in. Optional cloud sync uses on-device / iCloud-style storage when you enable it.
- Why does ping use TCP? App Store apps cannot open raw ICMP sockets on iOS. NetMaster X measures reachability and latency with TCP-based probing and is clear about that in the UI.
- Why does Wi‑Fi survey ask for location or motion? iOS may require location permission for Wi‑Fi network context. Motion helps estimate walking distance during site surveys. You can deny either; related features will be limited.
- Why do I see ads? The free version is supported by ads. You can decline tracking in the system prompt; the App still works.
- Where are my results stored? Saved diagnostics stay on your device unless you export them or turn on optional sync.
