Privacy Policy — AdBlockX
Last updated: August 8, 2026
AdBlockX (“the App”) is a Safari Content Blocker for iPhone and iPad from Razaq Apps. This policy explains what information the App uses and why.
Overview
AdBlockX is designed for on-device filtering. The App does not require an account and does not sell personal information. Core ad and tracker blocking runs through Apple’s Safari Content Blocker technology on your device.
What we collect
Browsing & filtering: AdBlockX does not collect, transmit, or store your browsing history, page URLs, or website content on our servers. Declarative block lists are applied by Safari on your device.
App preferences: Settings such as protection choices, site preferences, Kids Mode, and custom rules are stored locally on your device.
Permissions
- Safari Content Blockers: used to apply block lists inside Safari after you enable the extensions in iOS Settings.
- No VPN profile is required for core blocking.
What we do not use
- Sale of browsing history or personal content
- Cloud accounts required to use core blocking
- Private APIs for filtering
Apple services
If you choose optional Apple analytics or diagnostics at the system level, those are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms — not by AdBlockX servers.
Children
Kids Mode is a local preference to simplify choices. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Enable or disable individual Content Blockers in iOS Settings → Safari → Extensions
- Adjust site preferences and custom rules inside the App
- Delete the App to remove on-device sandbox data
